I formed a lifelong passion for horses at the age of five when I first convinced my parents to let me take riding lessons. I have been riding and training horses in a variety of disciplines ever since. I often like to combine my two passions, writing and horses, which is why a lot of my writing projects have a horse angle to them.

Right now much of my writing time is devoted to nonfiction equine education and careers. Whether through my book, monthly column, or freelance articles in various horse magazines.

I travel nationwide to various horse expos giving my seminars on equine education and careers. Expos that I’ve attended in the past couple of years: California Equine Affaire, Georgia Horse Fair, Kentucky Equine Affaire, Massachusetts Equine Affaire, North Carolina Equine Extravaganza, and the Virginia Equine Extravaganza. Please check my events page for where I’ll be in 2008. I also provide one-on-one consultation-counseling to prospective students.

I currently live in Lake Tahoe, California, with my husband and two daughters.
